![]() It's enough to enrage all audiences and we demand a revenge sequel immediately! Keanu Reeves stars in the film as a hopeless victim of infuriating torture to leave you unsatisfied and angry at an extreme level. No one wants to watch that film.ĭirected by Eli Roth, Knock Knock is nothing other than a horrible home invasion story of torture and vandalism. Moral of the story Movie script writers- don't make a movie with the good guy is kicked and stomped on and the bad guys just get away. The girls were annoying, loud, crazy, psychopaths. He didn't deserve everything that happened). Maybe if Keanu Reeves character was actually a bad person, then yea this movie would work, BUT NO, he was a good person on the most part (sure he cheated, but he didn't go out of his way to cheat. It made me give this movie a 4/10 because its so frustrating and unsatisfying. I really wanted the girls to be dealt with and I really hate that they just walked away. I hated this film, because it made me cringe. Also if Keanu Reeves was a bad "dad" and person as they suggest, why did they ruin all his WIFES art, I get why they would destroy his music but why all his WIFES and innocent children's things and write curse words over his children's pictures. He probably fell because he couldn't breath. Although it's meant to come across as "not their fault, he fell", they knew he had asthma, took his pump, made him need it, and jump for it. What really bugged me about the movie though, is #spoiler alert# if they weren't planning on killing Keanu Reeves, why did they purposefully kill the friend. ![]() He gets all John Wick on the intruders and gives the little cows what they deserve. The movie would have been a lot better if after he is left to be found. I am just not satisfied with this ending. As another poster said, I really want a revenge sequel. Second, the movie shows he has a injured shoulder so would be weaker around the girls. I could feel what he was going through and hence made me hate the film. I could feel his pain through the screen and the torture he was going through. First off - Anyone that says Keanu Reeves can not act, is just being rude. Still, KNOCK KNOCK really did keep me entertained throughout the running time and I found it to be interesting and worth watching.I actually liked the movie, but at the same time I really hated it. As I said there are some logical issues that I had with some of the things that happen throughout the picture and at times you want to hit Evan over the head yourself for doing some foolish things. Most importantly is that all three have some good chemistry no matter what they're doing. Both Izzo and de Armas are good in their roles as they both play erotic very well and I thought they also managed to be believable in the more deadly nature. This includes playing that lovable father but he also handles the seduction scenes quite well and the various scenes where he is being tortured both physically and mentally. Reeves does a nice job in the role that requires quite a bit from him. The performances are for the most part good. Again, I'm not going to ruin the plan of these women but it's an interesting idea and I think the story is good enough to hold your attention throughout. I thought the director did a very good job at establishing the Evan character by showing him to be a good guy but of course even the best of people can make a mistake, which could change their life. On a technical level this is the best thing I've seen from Roth has he actually does a very good job in the directing department and there's no question that the film is well-made. Again, if you're wanting high art then this isn't going to be for you but for my money it was a nice erotic thriller that was at least entertaining throughout. I'm not going to spoil what happens throughout the movie but I thought the twists were rather good and for the most part we got some nice performances. Eli Roth is best known for his sadistic horror movies but he tries something different here and while the film is highly flawed I thought it was good enough for what it was trying to do. The next day Evan realizes his mistake and tries to get rid of the women but soon he realizes they have different plans. Both women are wet and cold so Evan invites them into his house to wait for a taxi but they soon seduce them into a threesome. Knock Knock (2015) *** (out of 4) Husband and father Evan Webber (Keanu Reeves) is home alone working during a storm when two ladies (Lorenza Izzo, Ana de Armas) knock on his door asking for directions. ![]()
